Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
It is with joy that we listen for you, O God. Your footsteps are a whisper as you walk beside us, your voice a source of assurance in a troubled world. In you we find the confidence to live our lives fully, and overcome the things in life that test our faith. We give thanks for your constant love, and pray for forgiveness when we become shadows, selfish and invisible in your world. Too often we set ourselves apart, forgetting your desire that we share the love and hope of Christ, and the truth of your grace. Change our hearts, that as your people we will bring light, joy and peace into being, both in our lives and in your world. We ask in Jesus' name, Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | To God Be the Glory | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
O God, light of the minds that know you, life of the souls that love you, strength of the thoughts that seek you, help us to know you so that we may truly love you and truly serve you, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. |
