Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
God, our Creator, you give to us the breath that begins our journey. You give form to our being, and create in us a song of life. For every day we are grateful, for every voice we hear, the touch of the warm sun, the endless beauty of a starry night. But sometimes we miss the beauty of your creation, living in fear, holding back, staying in our safe spaces. It can be hard to reach out to strangers, easier to let them pass by. Forgive us, Lord. Help us, we pray, to encounter your world! Let the way we live give voice to your life, hope and promise, and touch those who long for your love. We ask in Jesus’ name, Amen. |

There is no sin so terrible that God cannot forgive There is no hurt so terrible that God cannot heal In Jesus Christ, God has forgiven us and set us free! |

Passing of the Peace | Come Thou Font of Every Blessing | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
