Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
You are the constant in my life, O God. You are the star of stars that gives heaven its light. My joy is without boundaries, it is a song that cannot be contained. I don't need to look for you because your Spirit walks with me every day, and your presence is made known in the beauty of your creation. I give thanks and praise with every breath. Yet, even knowing, I stray from your light. I fall to temptation and rise in anger. I judge my neighbor or ignore the hungry. Forgive me, I pray! Lift me from despair, repair my brokenness, guide me towards generosity of heart. You are my lord, and in Christ I pray. Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Donna Genett |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | For the Beauty of the Earth | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
