Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
How does time pass, O Lord, with our barely taking notice? Every day is a gift, each breath a chance for renewal. The cool dawn prepares us for the heat of the sun, and the night sky, bright with stars, reminds us that at every turn there is rebirth. Your world is beautiful. The heavens are vast, yet we, so small are your beloved. Help us remember that no one is greater than another. Remind us to honor the least among us. Forgive us when we are proud and selfish. Lead us with joy into your creation. In Jesus’ names, Amen. |
||
Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Morella Larsen |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Immortal Invisible | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
