Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
On this special day, dear Lord, we are thankful for those who nurture us, protect us, support our hopes and dreams. It is also a day to understand how your love also protects, sustains and provides hope in our lives. We can be unafraid because as your children we can turn to you. How blessed we are! We pray you will forgive us when we forget your presence or use your name in vain. Our shame in weakness can only be healed by your forgiveness and 'Amen,' and so with humility we come before you to give thanks, to be healed and to be sent into the world renewed by your holy and complete love. We ask always in the name of Jesus, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Morella Larsen |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | All Things Bright and Beautiful | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen |
