What would we sacrifice for you, our God? You gave us your son Jesus, and he gave us his life! What can we give, how can we respond? Our lives are busy and there is so much distraction. We spend time being afraid, being angry, being selfish. Forgive us for turning away from you and toward ourselves. Forgive us for turning away from our responsibilities as your beloved children. Forgive us, and guide us we pray. By your grace let the Gospel guide our hearts, our hands, our minds, as we learn to sacrifice our time and our lives to sharing your greatest gift: Love. We ask in Jesus' name, Amen. |
