Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
In a breath of wind, we find relief from a weary world; in your love we find sanctuary, in the Spirit strength, in Christ, hope. How could we laugh but for you, and the reflection of you in a neighbor's voice, a birds song, the daily sounds of life in community. You remind us of life! To get by sometimes we choose to cling harder to the things that make us happy, wanting to shut out the pain of others. Forgive us, and help us to see how each of us caring and being present even in the darkest places can make a difference not just in those we help but in our own hearts. Help us to see that this, too, is life! If we are strong, let us work: if we are weak, let us pray. Lead us forward with Gospel hearts, alive in you! In Jesus name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Donna Genett |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | This Is The Day | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
