Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
We are as many as the grains of sand, O Lord, and you know us. To you, we are as diamonds, precious and rare. Your love is our confidence and our guide, a gift beyond measure. When we are strong, we forget you, but when life is hard, we call to you in our need, and always you are there. Forgive us our sins of doubt and self interest! Heal our hearts of fear and ego! Build in us a clean heart, renewed and faithful. We give thanks even as we ask and pray in Jesus’ name, Amen. |
||
Life of the Church | Special Music | Dirk Voerman |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Immortal Invisible | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
