Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
We look to the skies, O God, and seek your face in the heavens. The sun that gives life, the clouds that offer shade, the rising sun and countless stars; all are reflections of your presence and your love. When we rise and enter the day, every motion is a miracle that you have given us, and we give thanks that we are vessels filled with your Spirit. Let us always give thanks, dear Lord, even as we know our humanity and failings. Forgive us our sins and open our hearts to your unfailing love, that we might meet each person wherever they are in their lives, and share the gift we have been given. Always we ask in the name of the Christ. Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Sharon Ratliffe |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | O Day of Rest and Gladness | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
