Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
It is still Easter, O God. Our hearts are filled with the light of your victory. We can still see the stone rolled away and the tomb, now empty. The words, ‘He is Risen!’ even now come to our ears and our hearts, once hungry, are fed by your gracious love. In the glow of your risen light, we begin to continue on our way, and in the challenges of life, we understand the doubt of your servant Thomas. We long to see your hands and side, to hear your voice and know your touch. Forgive us any doubt, Lord, and let our faith carry your Truth across time and truly come into our hearts. Make us your Easter People, not just one day but every day. Help us to bring your song of joy to everyone, confident in your victory, confident in your presence, confident in your Love. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Donna Genett |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Great Is Thy Faithfulness | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Teach us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, help us to hear, know and live the Gospel so that we might proclaim in work and deed, the Good News that you offer us this day. A message of peace to the whole community and love with faith through Christ our Lord. Amen |
