Welcoming My Peace (As we return to our seats.)  Dirk Voerman
God, our Creator and Protector, you gave us your Son to walk among us and teach us the true meaning of love for one another. It is a wonder to us that we who are so small should deserve this gift. Yet we are made in your image, and you are the heart of our hearts. It is too wonderful to imagine! Forgive us when we ignore the presence of the Spirit. Forgive us when we are unkind. Forgive our selfishness. Open our eyes to the glory of your Truth, so we may be always your Easter people. We pray in the name of the Christ, Amen.

Life of the Church Special Music  Congregation
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us.
Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen.

Passing of the Peace All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name  Praise Band
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Prelude Gloria Patri  Hymn #263 (all)
Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen
