Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
There can be nothing in this morning, O Lord, except pure joy. Today we receive your love, Emmanuel, God With Us. Today we experience the fullness of your grace, and the meaning of being your people. We, who had suffered in sin and separation and are now released into the fullness of your light. Abide with us always, we pray, as we go forward in our lives. Let the image of the Child rest in our hearts, reminding us of the forgiveness you offer, and the transforming love that surrounds us on this Christmas morning. We pray and give thanks in the name of the Christ, Jesus. Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Morella Larsen |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Joy to the World! | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen |
