Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
In the brightness of day we are filled with your light, and in the darkness of night we listen for your voice. Your steadfast love is reflected in the face of a stranger; your grace renews our broken hearts. In a world filled with fear, we can miss a gift you have sent us. In our hurry, we rush past the flower that blooms. We become blind to visions and reject what is new. Forgive us our trespasses, O Lord! Help us to see that your Word lives, and fill the gray of our lives with color and song. Forgive our sins of laziness and denial, and fill us instead with ideas and LIFE! Help us to not be afraid of using our gifts, whatever they may be. Lead us, guide us, give us listening ears for we are yours. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder John Evans |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Love Divine, All Loves Excelling | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen |
