Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
God of all, you offer to us a love beyond understanding, and a peace that flows from you like an endless river. In times of joy and times of pain, your Spirit reaches out for us, seeks us, desires for us the joy found in life as your beloved. Forgive our doubts, failures and frailties, we pray. Like the Psalmist we ask, ‘Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.’ In Jesus’ name. Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Deacon Kay Chabot |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us, Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |

Passing of the Peace | Immortal Invisible | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen |
