Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
What is life without your love? Even as the days unfold, and we are grateful for friends, family and community, our blessings exceed our understanding. You are beside us, and yet you are also around the next corner, where we have not walked. Your presence surrounds and protects, your patience, waits. Our faith embraces us as sunlight on skin, felt yet unseen, a source of strength and comfort. We take so much for granted, especially your steadfast care . In our hearts we know you will always hear us and lift us up, but we need reminding to stop, be humble, and give thanks. We need to remember that with your grace comes a call to reach out, to help and embrace the separated and unloved. To demonstrate YOU in your world. So often, we simply forget. We take and do not give. Forgive us God, and create in us the transformation of the Cross; make us a light in every darkness and a joy for every heart. We are your Easter people, and we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Kay Chabot |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |

Passing of the Peace | Joy to the World | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen |
