* Call to Worship One: God is a God filled with wonder and surprise. Many: We open our minds and hearts to the surprising blessings of God. One: God calls us God’s own, children of God’s own creation. All: We affirm our God-given identity with gratitude and celebrate with joyful service!

* Opening Hymn God of Grace and God of Glory  Hymn #307 (all)

Prayer of Adoration & Confession (unison)
Here we are, O God;
We present ourselves to you. But how little we trust you to provide! How we fear the path to which you call us! How wayward we continue to be! Forgive our sin that leads to death. For you call us to obedience, which leads to righteousness and life. Fill us with faith and loyalty to you. Make us obedient from the heart, generous to the people you send our way, and open to your bountiful grace.

(A moment for silent reflection)

Assurance of Pardon
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all.

* Singing Gloria Patri  Hymn #623

Great Is The Lord  Hymn #614 (all)

Prayers of the People & Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
