Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
We thank you, loving God, for what we know and what we have yet to know. For the amazing beauty of this world, for the infinite stars, for the renewal of spring, for the flower that buds, then blooms. We pray that in our lives our hearts will open like the flower, and we will understand and demonstrate your love. When we fail to love, we pray that you will forgive us our sin, and that the balm of your Grace will lead us to the friend, the stranger, to our very selves, so that your desire for all your people will be realized; that we are One in you, O God. We ask in Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |

Passing of the Peace | For the Beauty of the Earth | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Let there be peace on earth And let it begin with me. Let there be peace on earth The peace that was meant to be. With God as our Father Brothers all are we. Let me walk with my sister In perfect harmony. Let peace begin with me Let this be the moment now. With every step I take Let this be my solemn vow. To take each moment And live each moment In peace eternally. Let there be peace on earth, And let it begin with me. |
