Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
One: Sing to the Lord a new song; Many: Our hope is in the Lord! One: By God’s love we are given life; Many: And by Grace we find renewal and hope. One: Let us sing to the Lord a new song; ALL: Sing praises, let all Creation sing praises! |

Life of the Church | Peace in the Valley | David Smith |
Life is good, O Lord, and your Creation is beautiful. There is nothing to compare with mountains that reach to the sky, the nurturing sound of rushing water, or the song of a bird on the wing. You have painted your earth with color and light, and soil to be tilled and planted that none may be hungry. We give thanks to you for so much that we take for granted, and we look away as we wonder why we plunder this world and one another? Why, O God, do hate and fear guide our hands? We are ashamed and ask your forgiveness, your healing and your guidance. Let the strength and trust we find in you break down the walls of distrust and build communities of friendship and sharing. We humbly ask in Jesus name to be your hands and your heart as we follow in the footsteps of your Son, Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Congregation | |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |

Prelude | O For A Thousand Tongues | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
