Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
One: We gather in the presence of God to experience love and community; Many: We come together to bless and be blessed. One: Let our voices be heard throughout the land; ALL: Let us praise God in word and song! |

Life of the Church | Cleanse Me | Elder Jim DeHart |
Each day is a new day, O God; each day is a day of hope. We give thanks and praise for each moment, that fear can turn to joy, and even in darkness light can be found. Our lives are constantly enriched by your love and grace, and we are humbled by your attention to us, all we are, all we do. Yet we are imperfect beings, and we make mistakes. We harm others, we turn from the poor and needy, we experience the emotions of hate and despair. Forgive us we pray! Heal us we pray! Look into our hearts and draw us into the goodness that is life, and your central hope for us that we example Christ in your world. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Come, Ye Thankful People, Come | Congregation |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |
||
Prelude | We Gather Together | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
