Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
One: My heart is steadfast, O God; Many: I will sing and make music with all my soul. One: Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. ALL: I will sing of you among the peoples, for great is your love! |

Life of the Church | Come, Holy Spirit | Deacon Dr. Mwanza Furaha |
God of grace and glory, our hearts are made glad by being part of your creation. We find happiness in service, in family and friendships, and in the amazing diversity of our neighbors. Your world is without limits, and each new day offers a chance of a new beginning, of hope where there may have been none, or joy that will replace sadness. In you, nothing is impossible and we can look forward with confidence to tomorrow. Forgive us our sins, dear God, help us be better in how we live, more forgiving in our love, and more understanding of those who are different. Remind us that we are part of your whole, and need each other, and need you most of all. You are our strength and our vision and we give thanks in the name of the Christ. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | O For A Thousand Tongues | Congregation |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |
||
Prelude | Kum bah Ya | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
