Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
One: To you, O lord, I lift up my soul; Many: in you I trust, O God! One: Show me your ways, O Lord, Many: teach me your paths; One: guide me in Your truth, for you are God my Savior, All: and my hope is in you all day long. |

Life of the Church | This Is My Father's World | Eric Ward |
We look to you, O God, you who have made us, Creator, Son and Spirit. The breadth of your love and grace, the gift of your Son, the presence of the Spirit, it is too much for us to understand. Help us in our disbelief! Forgive our blindness to hour presence! Hold us in your holy embrace that we might be saved from sin and darkness! You were before all things, yet to us you have given all that grows and lives on this earth. You have given us one another. Teach us, O Lord, let us live as your holy people, one body bound by love to the Holy Trinity that is you. We pray in Jesus' name, Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty! | Congregation |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |
||
Prelude | Assurance of Pardon | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
