|* Call to Worship|
One: Sing to the Lord a new song;
Many: We sing that all may hear!
One: Let our voices rise above the chaos,
Many: That hope and love will be known,
ALL: We gather with joy as God
|* Opening Hymn||Christ Whose Glory Fills the Skies||Hymn #662 (all)|
|Prayer of Adoration & Confession (unison)|
God of grace and mercy, you have given us hearts and minds capable of so much. We are made in your image, enjoy freedom of thought and action. As you Created beyond understanding, we create in our human ability, and give thanks and praise for our gifts to learn new ways to help one another. Even in the midst of our knowledge, dear Lord, we fall short and sin. We forget that all are your beloved, and fail to help. We call names, we anger, we even kill. Forgive us we pray. Forgive our darkness and fill us with You. Let us hear your healing Wisdom, that we can begin a new day in your name. In Christ we pray, Amen.
|(A moment for silent reflection)|
|Assurance of Pardon|
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all.
|Gloria Patri||Hymn #581|
|* Praise Hymn||Seek Ye First||Hymn #175 (all)|
|Choral Preparation||Spirit, Spirit of Gentleness||Hymn # 291 (1&2)|
|Prayers of the People & Lord's Prayer|
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
|Anthem||All In The Name of Jesus||solo by Caryl Williamson|

Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen
