As we sing, the Pastor will light his candle from the Christ Candle.The lighted flame is a symbol of Christ, the Light of the World. He will then light the candles of the persons on the aisle, and each will in turn light the candle of the person next to them. When all candles are lit, the choir will lead the congregation outside, where we will gather and continue singing John 1: 1-14  Hymn #147 (all)
