Gathering Song | God Welcomes All | Hymn #399 |
One: As much as we struggle to get things right, we must admit that we get ourselves all tangled up in confused thinking and questionable actions. We embrace the wrong things and trip over unseen snares. We frequently disappoint God with our flailing around. Yet God still invites us to come, to confess and to begin anew. All: Welcoming God, you wait with outstretched arms for us to come into your embrace, to yield to your love, to be led by your Spirit. Forgive our foolish (and futile) resistance. Help us to rest in you, to hope in you fully, that we might be encouraged and energized for the work and life you have created for us. In the name of the One whom you sent to show us yourself, Jesus the Christ. Amen. |
||
Welcoming | My Peace | Rev. Ron Duvall |

||
Passing of the Peace | Do You Hear What I Hear | Congregarion |
All: Your word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. May it always serve to guide our way. |
