Welcoming | My Peace | Rev. Thelma King |
In the Lord's Supper, Christ is present by the power of the Holy Spirit, and offers us his body, broken for our sake, and his blood, shed for the forgiveness of our sins. As we prepare to receive this great gift, let us confess our sin and hear the promise of forgiveness. (a brief period of silence to examine the conscience) |
Life of the Church | My Country, 'Tis of Thee | Elder Peggy Kueffer |
Gracious God, our sins are to heavy to carry, too real to hide, and too deep to undo. Forgive what our lips tremble to name, what our hearts can no longer bear, and what has become for us a consuming fire of judgment. Set us fee from a past that we cannot chnge; open to us a future in which we can be changed; and grant us grace to grow more and more in your likeness and image; through Jesus Christ, the light of the world. |
Passing of the Peace | Christ Whose Glory Fills the Skies | Congregarion |
The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting. I declare to you in the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven. May the God of mercy, who forgives you all your sins, strengthen you in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep you in eternal life. Amen |
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
