Eye opening God, we praise you for this new day and the blessings we experience. Help your church to catch a glimpse of your Spirit at work here and around this world. May the witness of your people here and throughout the Pacific Rim stir our hearts, prick our consciences, and change our lives for the good of your world. Forgive us when we sin by closing our eyes and hardening our hearts to the work of your Holy Spirit. Thank you for your love and merciful forgiveness in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior through whom we are renewed. Amen

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
