Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
God of grace and mercy, you have given us hearts and minds capable of so much. We are made in your image, enjoy freedom of thought and action. As you Created beyond understanding, we create in our human ability, and give thanks and praise for our gifts to learn new ways to help one another. Even in the midst of our knowledge, dear Lord, we fall short and sin. We forget that all are your beloved, and fail to help. We call names, we anger, we even kill. Forgive us we pray. Forgive our darkness and fill us with You. Let us hear your healing Wisdom, that we can begin a new day in your name. In Christ we pray, Amen. |

Life of the Church | There’s a Sweet, Sweet Spirit | Elder Jim DeHart |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |

Passing of the Peace | Christ Whose Glory Fills the Skies | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen |
