PSPC Worship Service

We rejoice, O God, in your splendor and your grace. We rejoice in your love for us. No cloud can keep your light from shining, no pain destroy our hope, for you are with us, always. Yet when our lives are good, we find no need for you. And when there is trouble, we wonder where you are. Forgive us, Lord, our doubt. Lead us back to you when we stray, and help us listen for your voice in this noisy world. For without you, we are empty, and with you, we are fulfilled. We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen
