ONE: We are called to follow-- to walk in the way of justice and righteousness,
ALL: for we are children of God!
ONE: We are called to serve-- to be Christ with and for one another,
ALL: for we are the salt of the earth!
ONE: We are called to shine-- to be beacons of hope and witnesses to truth,
ALL: for we are the light of the world!
ONE: Come, you who are claimed as children of God, salt of the earth and light of the world.
ALL: Let us worship the Lord!

ONE: The Apostle Paul teaches:

ONE: Because we were buried with Christ in these waters, we are also raised to new life with him. Believe in the gospel! In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.
ALL: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

ALL: Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will, discover your peace; though Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
