Good Morning Palm Springs Presbyterian Church!

I would like to share a few updates with you this morning.

Our office continues to be open on Friday mornings from 8:00am to 12:00noon.

Christine Lutke would like to express her gratitude for all the prayers of healing. Her knee is doing well and she doesn't need to use the walker any longer! Hugs to everyone from Christine and Steve.

We would like to extend Happy Birthday wishes this week to two very special people; Morella Larsen and Wally Burill. We wish you both a blessed day and may God hold you in his hand for great health and happiness all year long.

One: Jesus says, PžÄ

One: As the apostle Paul reminds us,
love is what fulfills the law.
We do not always love God with whole hearts
or love our neighbors as ourselves.
But God loves us faithfully.
With the confidence of beloved children,
let us confess our sins before God and neighbor.

All: Forgiving God,
You teach us to seek reconciliation
with those who have wronged us;
for, above all else,
we are to love one another.
But we let resentment smolder
until anger flares,
destroying any chance of peace.
We blame others and refuse to repent.
Grant us grace, we pray.
Make space in our wounded hearts
for the possibility of forgiveness,
and teach us to turn toward others in love
as you have turned toward us.

One: Salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed;
the night is far gone, the day is near.
Friends, the light of Christ shines within and among us,
dispelling the shadows of sin and death,
and illuminating our path,
that we might walk in newness of life.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Faithful God, how blessed are those
who hunger and thirst for righteousness.
Sanctify us by your Word and Spirit
so that we may glorify you
in the company of the faithful;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ALL: We lift them to the Lord.
PASTOR: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

God of power and might.

Blessed is one who comes in the name of the Lord.

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, to present yourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
Let us offer our lives to the Lord.
Romans 12:1

God of unending gifts, we praise you for your abundant goodness.
As you are generous, we want to be generous too.
May the gifts we bring extend your generosity into the world,
so that all people may be made whole by your goodness and grace. Amen.

May the everlasting God shield you,
East and west and wherever you go.
And the blessing of God be upon you.
All: The blessing of the God of life.
The blessing of Christ be upon you.
All: The blessing of the Christ of love.
The blessing of the Spirit be upon you.
All: The blessing of the Spirit of grace.
The blessing of the Trinity be upon you.
Now and for evermore.
