Gathering Song God Welcomes All  Hymn #399
Pastor: Gather us in,
the lost and the lonely,
the broken and breaking,
the tired and the aching
who long for the nourishment
found at your feast.

ALL: GATHER US IN,

Kay: the done and the doubting,
the wishing and wondering,
the puzzled and pondering
who long for the company
found at your feast.

ALL: GATHER US IN,

Pastor: the proud and pretentious,
the sure and superior,
the never inferior,
who long for the leveling
found at your feast.

ALL: GATHER US IN,

Kay: the bright and the bustling,
the stirrers and shakers,
the kind laughter makers
who long for the deeper joys
found at your feast.

ALL: GATHER US IN,

Pastor: from corner or limelight,
from mansion or campsite,
from fears and obsession,
from tears and depression,
from untold excesses,
from treasured successes,
to meet, to eat,
be given a seat,
be joined to the vine,
be offered new wine,
become like the least,
be found at the feast.

ALL: GATHER US IN!

Welcoming My Peace  Rev. Bruce Myers
One: When we are honest with ourselves, we must admit that there are times when 0

Passing of the Peace Come to the Table of Grace  Congregarion
One: God sent Jesus not to judge us, but to save us. God accepts both our courage and our fears. In the name of Christ, your sins are forgiven. Dare to accept the gift of a new beginning.
All: Let us accept the gift of a new beginning. In Christ our sins are forgiven. Amen.

Life of the Church In Christ There Is No East or West  Elder Kay Chabot
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Prelude Forgive Us, Lord  Alex Danson
Sovereign God, let your Word rule in our hearts
and your Spirit govern our lives
until at last we see the fulfillment
of your realm of justice and peace;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Call to Worship (Responsive) Great Are You Lord  Bruce Myers & Kay Chabot
Pastor: The table of bread and wine is now to be made ready.
It is the table of company with Jesus, and all who love him.
It is the table of sharing with the poor of the world,
with whom Jesus identified himself.
It is the table of communion with the arth,
in which Christ became incarnate.

Kay: So come to this table,
you who have much faith and you who have little,
you who have been here often
and you who have not been for a long time,
you who have tried to follow,
and you who have failed.

Pastor:
Come, not because it is I who invite you:
it is our Lord.
It is his will that those who want him
should meet him here.

Opening Hymn Given For You (6/2/2019)  Hymn #318
Pastor: The Lord be with.
All: And also with you.
Pastor: Lift up your hearts.
All: We lift them to the Lord.
Pastor: Let us give thanks to the Lord.
All: It is right to give our thanks and praise.

(Upon invitation the people say“

Prayer of Adoration & Confession (Responsive) Psalm 80: 7-15  Elder Kay Chabot
Bruce: Let us pray.
In gratitude, in deep gratitude for this moment,
this meal,
and the people with whom we have shared,
we give ourselves to you.

Kay: Take us out to live as changed people
because we have shared the Living Bread
and cannot remain the same.

Bruce: Ask much of us,
expect much from us,
enable much by us,
encourage many through us.

Kay: So, Lord, may we live to your glory,
both as inhabitants of earth
and citizens of the commonwealth of heaven. Amen.

(A moment for silent reflection) Isaiah 5: 1-7  Elder Kay Chabot
I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, to present yourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
Let us offer our lives to the Lord.
Romans 12:1

Assurance of Forgiveness (Responsive) Jesu, Jesu, Fill Us With Your Love  Hymn #431
God of unending gifts, we praise you for your abundant goodness.
As you are generous, we want to be generous too.
May the gifts we bring extend your generosity into the world,
so that all people may be made whole by your goodness and grace. Amen.

Praise Hymn Philippians 3:4b-14  Hymn #614
From where we are to
where you need us;

All: Jesus, now lead on

From the security of what
we know, to the adventure
of what you will reveal

All: Jesus, now lead on

To refashion a fabric of this
world until it resembles
the shape of your kingdom

All: Jesus, now lead on

Because good things
have been prepared for
those who love God

All: Jesus, now lead on
