Life of the Church/Announcements | “My Peace” (As we return to our seats.) | Deacon Jeff Morgan |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen. |

Creator God, Father to us all, we glorify you and give thanks for the breath of life, the bounty of the world, and above all, your Holy presence that transcends our earthly experience. When we are blessed in life, our souls rejoice; when pain and loss cripple us, we hide our hearts from you. We pray, O Lord, that you would heal our blindness, and lift the veil that separates us from your truth. Help us to remember that you sent your son on behalf of our shame, and the Holy Spirit, our advocate, as we seek the path of righteousness. Give us strength, take away our fear, as we lift high the Cross. In Christ’s name we pray, Amen. |
