Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
Gracious God, you surround us with confidence, with graciousness and love. As we move through our lives, your Spirit lifts us when we fall, and forgives us when we stumble. We are bIessed beyond words! Yet, while we experience your patience, we are impatient. While we experience your acceptance, we judge others. and, while we know of your desire for peace, we strike out in thoughtless anger. Forgive us, O Lord! Help us in our weakness. Protect us from those who would lead us from you. Build in us goodness and mercy. Reveal in us a clean heart. We lift our prayers in Jesus' name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Jim DeHart |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee | Congregation |
God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen. |
