Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
God our Creator, you are generous beyond understanding. You have given us the gift of your son, the Christ. You have provided a light to show us the way to his love, and a path to forgiveness. Your promise is one of hope and acceptance, and we give thanks to you, our Lord. Forgive us our many sins and failings! Take the darkness from our eyes, so we can see your truth! Make our hands the hands of healers, our hearts the hearts of giving, our words the words of kindness. As we are forgiven, let us forgive. We ask in Jesus’ name, Amen. |
||
Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Morella Larsen |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | We Three Kings | Congregation |
God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen. |
