We sing to you a new song, O God, a song of grace and glory, a song of humility and thankfulness! We praise you for your gift of Hope, and the new life offered to us in your name, a renewal we can claim always, as you wait for us in love. We want to love as you do, Lord, yet we sin through judgement against others, and anger over opinions that differ from our own. We gossip when we should be silent. Forgive us, we pray. Cleanse our hearts and make them worthy of your grace. Help us surrender our pride and let the presence of the Spirit be our guide. we ask in Jesus' name, Amen. |
