God our Creator, be with us on this day of radiant gladness! Let us feel the wind on our faces as we turn them towards you! Lead us into understanding fully the freedom you have given us through the gift of your son! In you is found light, and life, and by your hand we are equal as your children, given this glorious world to celebrate in community with one another. Forgive our hearts than can turn cold and filled with distrust. Forgive our sins of denial and omission. Place your hand on our hearts and turn them towards your light always, that we might be children of the Way in all places, at all times, of our lives. Our prayers are given always in Jesus name, Amen. |
