Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
With the rising sun we give thanks, O God, for the precious gift of life redeemed through your son, Jesus Christ. In the light of midday we remember the joy of his victory over over darkness, and in the cool of evening we experience the peace of your grace and love. Your hand is so generous, and calls out for us to be as you are; yet even as we are still alight with the promise and hope of Easter, we forget those you would have us reach out to, in word, spirit and deed. Forgive us, Lord, and encourage us in your ways, so that no one may hunger or thirst, and all might find rest and encouragement in your family, the family of God. We pray in Jesus name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Donna Genett |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Chris t prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
