Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
How awesome is your Creation, O Lord! Our eyes are blessed by the colors of nature, our ears by the songs of life. The grasses bend to us in passing, the trees grow tall and spread their arms as shelter. Your land provides for our needs, we can ask no more. How awesome is your creation, O Lord! Yet even as the rose is beautiful, its stem bears painful thorns. Even as we are loved by you, our actions bring pain to your world. Help us to remember the gift you have given us. Remind us the way of the Shepherd, to tend and nurture. Let us care for one another, and for the earth you gave us. With heads bowed, we ask forgiveness where we have failed, and encouragement as we live forward. We give thanks for life, in Jesus' name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Donna Genett |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Chris t prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Morning Has Broken | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
