Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
God of creation and redemption, we place our hand in yours. From the cradle you love us, and to the grave you guard us, never ceasing in your grace and mercy. With grateful innocence we accept your gifts, and embrace life with expectation and surprise. You are an amazing God, and we are your joyful children! Yet, when we do not get our way, our faith can falter. At times we refuse to hear your voice and turn from your love. We seek places of darkness and run from those who would help. Forgive us, Lord! Reach for us and draw us back to you, we pray! Let our ears be filled with the music of your heavens, and our hearts with the goodness of your desire. Restore us, so that we can be your light in a world of need! We pray in the name of your Son Jesus, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Jackie Morgan |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | When Morning Gilds the Skies | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen |
