God, Creator of all, your works are so wonderful! Each piece of this earth is wondrous to behold, and every person a work of your hands. We rejoice and give thanks for life, and beauty, for light, and joy. Even in such plenty, Lord, we are in want. We ravage others to gain our way. We judge those who do not think like us, or look like us, or act differently. Forgive us, we pray! Set us free from the chains of darkness and create in us a new day of trust, of faith, of openness and consideration. Let our hearts and minds be filled with your love and goodness! We ask in Jesus' name, Amen.

Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us.
Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen.
