Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
God of heaven and earth, we see your hand in all things. Each blade of grass reflects your works, each grain of sand has its own purpose. Every person bears your image, and the thought of your great love overwhelms us. Because of your love, we can bear the pain of our sins. We ask, O Lord, that this knowledge will wash away our doubts, sustain us in hard times, mend our brokenness and renew our souls. Remind us, we pray, of the Shepherd's work, and help us to seek Him even as we are sought. Rebuild us as Christ's people in a hurting world, vessels of peace and love. In Jesus' name, Amen |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Jim DeHart |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ. reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen |

Passing of the Peace | To God Be the Glory | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen. |
