Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
We seek to live in ways that are good, O God; we try to do our best every day. Because you love us you have given us the understanding of your desire for our lives. We are witnesses to the great example and sacrifice of your son, Jesus. We remember that the Holy Spirit is with us in every moment, and we are never alone. Why then do we sin? How can we mistreat our neighbor and not help the stranger? Why is it so hard just to be nice? Forgive us, help us, heal us, lead us. We look to you, our Shepherd, with humble hearts and in Jesus name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Trust and Obey | Elder Dick Schultz |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Gloria Patri | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Halle, Halle, Hallelujah! | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
