PSPC Worship Service

ONE: May the peace of Christ be with you.
ALL: And also with you.

Leader:  Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.  Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing.
Congregation: Know that the Lord is God.   It is he that made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Leader: Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise.  Give thanks to him, bless his name.
Congregation:  For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Leader:  Let us worship God.

ALL: Eternal God, in whom we live and move and have our being, your face is hidden from us by our sins, and we forget your mercy in the blindness of our hearts.  Cleanse us from all our offenses and deliver us from proud thoughts and vain desires.  With lowliness and meekness may we draw near to you, confessing our faults, confiding in your grace, and finding in you our refuge and strength through Jesus Christ your Son.  AMEN

ONE: Who is in a position to condemn?  Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us.  If a person is in Christ that person becomes a new person altogether

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Almighty God, in you are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.  Open our eyes that we may see the wonders of your Word; and give us grace that we may clearly understand and freely choose the way of your wisdom through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN
