Prayer of Confession (responsive)) | ||
One: Merciful God, you call us to be still and know that you are God, yet we confess that our hearts are often restless, distracted by our worries and fears. All: Forgive us, O God, for the times we have sought refuge in the things of this world, rather than in your steadfast love. One: You invite us to lay our burdens at your feet, but we often choose to carry them ourselves, doubting your power and grace. All: Forgive us, O God, for the ways we have let our faith waver and for the times we have turned away from your presence. One: You lead us in the path of life, yet we stray from it, choosing our own ways instead of following you. All: In your mercy, hear our prayers and forgive us, O God. Amen. |

For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
