Prayer of Confession (Unison)
Father, we confess as a body of believers of your church that we do not always recognize the power or the magnitude of what your love through us can and does and will do for this hurting world. We have looked away when we should have not, we have run away when we should have ran ahead toward the hurt, the isolation and the pain of others. We distance ourselves at times to feel closer to you. Bring us together, dear Lord, that we might see and recognize the power of your love and not only with us, but the power of that love for this world we ask in the name of your son. Amen. |

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Anthem | I Believe | Choir |
Prayer for Illumination (Unison)
Lord, we humbly ask today that you would open our minds and our hearts to hear from the word of God to us, teach us new things to share with your people. We ask you to give us afresh a new attitude that with each step we take may be a step within the footprint of the sand where you have tread. In your mighty and saving prayer. Amen |
