God of our future: you are coming in power to bring us under your rule. We confess that we have not lived in expectation of your kingdom. We have led casual lives and ignored the promised coming of the Prince of Peace. Forgive us for the sake of our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ whose coming we eagerly await. AMEN |
