Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | Morning Has Broken | Pastor Bill Johnson |
God of life, we pray that you give us greater awareness of your presence in the world around us. Open our eyes and ears to your sights and sounds, so that we may submit to your will our desire to determine what is best for us. May we discover how you are igniting the life you have given us; may the light you have given us shine for Jesus. Have mercy upon us and forgive us when we fail to open our lives and faith, and the light of Jesus to those around us. Thank you for your love and merciful forgiveness in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior through whom we are renewed. Amen |

Prelude | Adoration | Celebration Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Pastoral Greeting | Psalm 136 | Pastor Bill Johnson |
We trust in God the Holy Spirit, everywhere the giver and renewer of life. The Spirit justifies us by grace through faith, sets us free to accept ourselves and to love God and neighbor, and binds us together with all believers in the one body of Christ, the Church. In a broken and fearful world the Spirit gives us courage to pray without ceasing, to witness among all peoples to Christ as Lord and Savior, and to work with others for justice, freedom and peace. |
