PSPC Worship Service

We rejoice, O God, in your love, and your sure and certain presence. We are thankful for the blessings of each new day, and the assurance that you are always near. Forgive us, we pray, when we take you for granted. Forgive us when we forget that many are alone and we don’t reach out to help. Remind us, dear Lord, to be aware of others, to make a call, a visit, to share of our time. As you are the Good Shepherd, help us to follow your example as Christ’s people in the world. We pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hear the good news! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know that you are forgiven, and be at peace. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen.
