God of love, we see Spring all around us. New life appears. And with it, hope for our future. Your world is filled with wondrous things, and it makes our hearts fill with joy. Yet even as we sing your praises and celebrate all you give us, others suffer and we do not see. Sometimes we do see and turn away. Why are we uncomfortable? Why do we let our brothers and sisters be hungry or alone? Teach us, O Lord. Lead us and let our hearts be generous and unafraid. Without you, we are nothing. With you, we can do anything! Help us shine your light, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Hear the good news! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know that you are forgiven, and be at peace. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen.
