Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | “My Peace” (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
You are a mystery, O God. Your presence is all around us, your love and grace sustain us, we feel your Spirit in the wind of days. All we perceive is of your hand, and all we feel is known to you. Your love overcomes the darkest night. You are invisible, yet your glory is seen everywhere; we give thanks, and we praise you. Lord, help us in our times of unbelief, we pray. Forgive our moments of doubt. Let us feel the assurance of the Creator, Son and Spirit in all our days. Give us the courage to share our faith, to live our faith, to risk for our faith. Lift our eyes towards heaven, so we might feel your light on our faces as we walk boldly forth in your name. We ask in Jesus name, Amen. |

Life of the Church/Announcements | Special Music | Rev. Narcissis Tucker |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | “Holy, Holy, Holy” | Congregation |
God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen. |

Prelude | “Gloria Patri” | Praise Band |
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen |
